All matters pertaining to museum objects and collections, from art and anthropology to paleontology and zoology, are governed by the Museums and Collections Policy. This policy and its associated procedures address museums and collections transactions such as acquisitions, loans and appraisals, and have been developed in consultation with academic and administrative staff throughout campus as part of the campus-wide UAPPOL (University of Alberta Policies and Procedures On-Line) initiative. The Policy was approved by the Board of Governors March 28, 2008. Museums and Collections Services is the Office of Administrative Responsibility for the implementation of the policy and procedures and is your first point of contact.
